The challenge
The Med Sea Alliance brings together more than twenty organisations behind shared goals: ending illegal bottom trawling, strengthening marine protected areas and reaching 30% protection of the Mediterranean by 2030. Every member has its own brand, priorities and channels — the alliance's challenge is communicating as one, consistently, all year round.
Its subject matter is technical and contested: fisheries regulation, enforcement data, port inspections. Getting it wrong, even once, hands arguments to the other side.
Our ongoing role
We run the alliance's digital communication as an ongoing partner: content creation and support across social channels, the alliance's newsletter, channel analytics and reporting, and paid ads strategy when campaigns need reach beyond the organic audience.
A key part of the work is coordination: aligning communication with the member organisations so that campaign moments land simultaneously across the network, and every member has materials adapted to its own channels.
Event coverage
When the alliance's issues reach the big institutional stages — the GFCM sessions, the COP climate summits — we cover them: same-day content from the venue, positions translated into clear visuals, and the alliance's presence documented for members and funders.
Event weeks compress months of advocacy into days; having the communication run by a team that already knows the files makes the difference between reacting and leading.
