The Ocean Race is a six-month, round-the-world event followed by audiences in dozens of markets. Its media team needed motion graphics that could explain racing, weather and ocean science to a broadcast audience — and social editions that could keep pace with a race that never stops.
Working inside the race's content team, we produced motion design and data-driven overlays for broadcast output, alongside fast-turnaround social edits cut for each platform. Scientific concepts — currents, weather systems, the race's own ocean-health science programme — were translated into visuals a general audience could read at a glance.
The collaboration ran across the full 2022–23 edition, delivering consistently under live-event pressure and to broadcast standards.
